opinion: English dubs are great (not really)

i actually like some english dubs!! fruits basket and space dandy dub are really great and two of my favorites!! i dont.. prefer dubs, in fact if i can avoid it i will, but a dub (if done well) is really helpful to some people!

i also really appreciate the voice actors who work their hardest to portray the characters as best as they can knowing the backlash they’ll get

the bullshit is when u have shit people as voice actors, or just voice actors who are bad in general and don’t take the job seriously and ruin the dub for everyone, including people who were looking forward to watching and seeing the portrayals or need the dubs because subs are difficult for them to read or follow
