You know those people on twitter who tweet asking to send music or that they need new music to listen to? I'm one of them, with that being said it's actually how I discovered Kilo Jones. Lo and behold, one night while I was on twitter, I tweeted that I needed new music to listen to and would love for someone to send me something. Hey, it was worth a shot, right?
Kilo Jones, an artist who advertises his music on twitter actually replied to me telling me about some album being the best. Now I was skeptical when I read that as for some reason, artists always believe their album is the best so they advertise it as such (when in some cases it is not). Nonetheless, I gave Jones music a shot and out of the 5 songs on Avant-Garde, there were only 2 songs that I liked ("Am-nē-zha" and "Nebulous" ft. Lifehouse). Originally.
At the moment that isn't the case anymore. Recently, I contacted him over twitter to check out his album once more for the blog. While I sat in my room listening to each song, I started to realize something there was one song that caught my attention: "The Reason" ft. Yung Rep. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure why it didn't catch my attention the first time but it did nonetheless. Personally, I think the only reason it caught my attention this time was because of the female harmonies in the background.
Overall, each song on Avant-Garde is different; the beats are amazing; the lyrics are good, not the best but good and plus the album cover is cool. Please take note some parts of each song could be deemed inappropriate for those who are under 12. Yes, I said 12 and not 13 or 18 because quite frankly young kids nowadays just listen to anything without a care...so do listen at your own risk. Modesic is not responsible for younglings getting in trouble.
Wondering what the five songs are on his album? Here they are:
"Paint The City"
"Paul Avril" ft. Janet Jackson
"Am-nē-zha"
"Nebulous" ft. Lifehouse
