what do you live for?

As quoted from Mr Kim ChangWan on his appearance on Healing Camp.

As spoken from the show, it was said that Kim ChangWan got into university when he was 17. And the following words spoken by him really convinced me that he’s a wise man.

On my way to school, I kept asking the adults on my way to school :

“What do you live for?” “Why do you live?”

But the replies were always similar.

"You'll understand when you grow up." "Go study hard."

Almost everyone gave the same answer. I was really disappointed then. I thought that there should be at least one person that will have the answer. Although i don't know what kind of answer that would be.

So what i want to say is that..... Adults.... Don't trust the adults too much.

You have a vast universe in your heart. Although there might be an adult who would open that universe for you, But not many.

And to become such an adult, i know how difficult that is. Telling you not to trust the adults too much, i'm not telling you to deny the world; but don't stick too closely to what the adults tell you.

The adults aren't such a great world. You can see a much greater world than us. And if you can open this world to adulthood with your hands, i want to tell you this : Don't feel trapped by the adults' world.

Simply put, don't trust the adults too much.

When you grow up to become an adult yourself, you need to surpass being an adult too. You don't want to be trapped by being an adult either. Telling you not to trust me, is saying that don't think you're all matured now just because you're an adult. Don't just follow blindly.

I think i've been too caught up in my own troubles and never really noticed what people around me were going through. I've been hiding in my shell like a turtle.
