Until now I’m still trying to sink in the news about Kwang Soo leaving Running Man. It’s just so sad and hard to accept. It’s been so long after we had a heartbreak when Gary left 😞

Thank you Lee Kwang Soo

I’m feeling all sorts of emotions right now.

I feel sad that Kwangsoo will no longer appear on RM or any other entertainment shows in the near future. I feel sad because halfway through episode #559, I started thinking back to when I started watching RM in 2010. I was in 10th grade and barely gotten into the K-world of music, dramas, shows, music competitions, awards etc etc. While so much happened in my life and things changed, Kwang Soo stayed on the same show over the years. I grew up with the familiar faces of RM, and Kwangsoo was hands down my favorite member. People often made fun of him but I always found him endearing and very sweet. And I started bawling when he, in classic Kwangsoo fashion, went through such lengths to give rather than receive in this last ep. As I finished watching this episode, I felt like I was bidding adieu to my youth. The youth which had Kwangsoo in it. I don’t know why, but this was a very emotional moment for me. 

Thank you. Thank you, Lee Kwang Soo, for always being there for me, unbeknownst to you. Even through all the pain and injuries, you aimed to put on a good program for the viewers and fans. You always made sure everyone around you smiled and laughed. I wish you all the very best with whatever you choose to do next. I hope you keep smiling. I hope you take care of yourself. I wish for you to chase what you want to do. You deserve all things nice and so much more. I will always be rooting for you no matter what you do. Stay healthy. Be happy.
