G is for Gone!

A/N: I wrote this even before Gohn left ToppDogg and now that he’s literally gone from TD, my heart is hurting so much im emo

You swore to yourself that you wouldn’t cry, that no matter what you won’t let him see you like this- looking pathetic and weak. You knew what was coming. The reason why he wanted to meet was clearer than a fresh water. Two months have passed since you last saw each other. Tears rolled on your cheeks again. You did not want it to end this way.

But at some point, you knew it had to end. The days that passed without saying ‘i love you’ turned into weeks, then months. He felt distant and far away. He almost seemed like a stranger. The person you once knew more than yourself, recognized from head to toe, was long gone.

“I’m sorry,” was the first words that came out from his mouth. Only two words but it was more than enough to make your chest hurt. To make you a crying mess. He walked towards you and reached out to touch your face but you swatted his hand away. You didn’t want him to touch you. It was almost painful looking at him now.

“I’m sorry.” He repeated. “I can’t keep on seeing you like this. We haven’t seen each other for 2 months. It would be worse now that we have a tour coming. It’s unfair for you. I want you to be happy.”

“But you’re the only one who can make me happy!” You defended.

“Are you really happy? Are you happy that we’re not seeing each other for months? I wasn’t even there to celebrate your birthday! Stop lying to yourself. You know this will not work out.”

“Is it that easy for you to throw away everything Dongsung?” You spat on him. You were angry now, and you had every right to be. You know that becoming a singer was his dream and you did you best to support him. You didn’t get mad when he cancelled out on your dates to attend extra practice. When you had to wait for three hours because their meeting was extended.

You did almost everything you can not to get in the way with his work. But like what your favorite movie once said, almost is never enough.

He didn’t respond. He just looked at you with sad eyes. Those eyes that you knew too well. Those eyes that saw everything in you. Those eyes that you would only get to see in TV now. He turned his back and headed for the door, every step he make another piece of your heart falling.

You would miss him, you knew that. His laugh that sounds like music to your ears, his voice, his broad shoulders, his smile. Everything.

You watched his retreating figure silently and the moment you heard the door shut close, you knew he was gone.

I’ve been soooooooo happy ever since i found out Gohn made an IG account so i will most likely be posting more often c: I’ve been extremely sad since he left so for my own health after a while i stopped posting because i was trying to focus on other things but ever since i saw that gorgeous selca he posted i feel like i can actually pay attention to him again without any depression or sadness! :D I love him so much♥
