B-Joo scenario where another idol was trying to get your number and being flirty but you never told him about it and he heard you cheated on him with said idol but it was just fans saying it and not the truth. Hope that makes sense <3
This has been so long overdue & a lot of things happened with the boys but I still hope you guys enjoy this!-Having an idol as a boyfriend is never easy but when BJoo of ToppDogg is your boyfriend, it makes everything worth it. When he admitted at one of his interviews that he has a girlfriend, there were mixed reactions from fans. Some were very happy but most of them not.
You expected that kind of treatment from his fans and somehow, you understood their feelings. BJoo always reassured you and did his best to shield you from all the hate you’re getting. And despite his busy schedule, he makes sure to always spend time with you.
That being said, he would sometimes bring you to his schedules and you would happily wait for him. Today is also one of those days, and you were sitting at the waiting room while him and ToppDogg were rehearsing for their comeback stage.
Since you were always with BJoo, seeing idols was nothing new to you. What’s new is when an idol talks to you and asks for your number.
“Hi, I’m Monsta X’s Minhyuk.”
You looked up to see guy with his bright hair and smile, hand reaching out to you.
“Hi.” You shook his hand and returned his smile.
“Is it okay if I sit here?” He asks, pointing to a chair across you.
“Yeah, sure.” You’re a bit familiar with him and his group and you think you’ve seen him a few times too so you didn’t really feel uncomfortable being around him.
Minhyuk was a very talkative person, which helped you kill your boredom. He talked about a lot of things, of his struggles as an idol or how he sometimes get annoyed with his member’s silly antics. He would throw a joke here and there and made you laugh a lot.
“Minhyuk, it’s time to rehearse your MC lines.” His manager called out.
“Oh, I guess it’s time to go now. Can I ask for your number? If that’s all right?” He asked as he stood up from his seat.
“Sure.” You felt happy that you made a new idol friend besides ToppDogg and talking with Minhyuk once again changed the way you see idols.
“You should text me if you’re hanging around music shows okay? Maybe we’ll see each other again!” Minhyuk called out before finally leaving.
-Before heading home, you decided to stop by the cafe to buy your favorite cinammon roll. You were wearing earphones so you didn’t notice Minhyuk approaching you until you felt a light tap on your shoulder.
“Hi!” Minhyuk greeted you with that same bright smile of his. “Remember me?”
“Minhyuk!!” You exclaimed. Of course you remembered him, he was the first idol outside your boyfriend’s group to ever talk to you.
“How are you doing? Do you live around here?” Like your previous meeting, he threw you a lot of quesions without even giving you the time to think.
“Yeah, my apartment is like 3 blocks away. And you? Don’t tell me, your here to meet your secret girlfriend?!” You joked.
“Well yeah, actually my girlfriend is already on her way…” Minhyuk replied, trying to ride with your joke. “I’m kidding!” He took it back immediately when he saw your reaction, “I ran an errand and got thirsty.”
Minhyuk insisted to buy you some drinks so you sat for a while and talked. You were worried that someone might recognize him and make an issue but he reassured you that his disguise; cap and eyeglasses makes him totally unrecognizable.
“I swear no one will notice that I’m Korea’s Top Superstar.”
“Minhyuk, I know you’re famous but not like G-dragon level.”
Minhyuk pouted at your remark and you laughed at how cute his reaction are. Your phone lit up and your reminder flashed on the screen: START YOUR TERM PAPER!
“Oh shit!” You almost jumped from your seat, “I have to go now Minhyuk-ah, thanks for the coffee.”
“No problem! Thank you for spending time with me too. Take care!” Minhyuk walked you towards the exit.
-Ever since that cafe encounter with Minhyuk, the two of you became closer. You were text buddies, exchanging hilarious memes and cute dog pictures until you both felt sleepy. You were really happy to have met a new friend and for you it was nothing more than that. Apparently, for some people, specifically Byungjoo’s fans, that wasn’t the case.
“What’s the meaning of this?” Byungjoo barged into your apartment one morning and almost shoved his phone in your face.
At first you didn’t understand why your angrry boyfriend was showing you a random photo of two people at the cafe but then it dawned on you, that the people in the photo was not ‘random’ but in fact you and Minhyuk.
“I.. I-I can explain babe.” You stuttered on your words and you wanted to hit yourself because it’s definitely not helping your situation right now.
“I think this picture already explains everything y/n-ah.” He didn’t raise his tone but you could hear the pain and anger in his voice.
“Is this what I get from you?! After all the things I did for our relationship to work? I brought you to my workplace so we can spend more time together not for you to find some new guy to cheat on me with!” This time he was almost screaming and your eyes started to water. You wanted to say something, explain that it’s not what he think, but words won’t come out of your mouth.
“Is it because he’s more famous? Is that it huh?”
“Byungjoo no! No! It’s not like that!” You stood up from your seat and approached him, cupping his face with your hands. He didn’t flinch or try to remove your hands and you silently thanked the gods because this means your boyfriend is angry but he doesn’t hate you.
He remained silent, and you took this as an opportunity to keep talking.
“I swear me and Minhyuk are just friends. You can ask him personally if you like! If you want, I’ll let you read our conversations and you’ll see that there’s nothing more to it. He even talks to me about his idol crushes! That picture is indeed me and him but we weren’t going on a secret date, we just happened to bump into each other that day…”
“I love you so much Byungjoo and I will never ever do anything to hurt you. I would be a fool to cheat on you. Believe me please?” The tears you were holding back for so long finally rolled down your cheeks.
Your last sentence sounded desperate and you really were. You can’t afford to lose your boyfriend over some stupid picture and immature fans.
“Babe,” Byungjoo finally spoke. It was now his turn to cup your face, using his fingers to gently rub your tears away. “I believe you. I’m sorry if I got mad at you. It’s just that, I don’t wanna lose you.”
“I’m sorry if I made you think that I cheated on you. I could tell Minhyuk that we should stop texting.” You suggested.
“No babe, you don’t have to do that. I trust you. I love you.” Byungjoo said before pulling you into a hug and kissing the top of your head.
