Simplicity in Action

Actions speak louder than words

Words are just words. Anyone can say it with or without meaning. 

Actions on the other hand means a person asserted a lot of effort in doing a certain thing or situation. Effort.

Therefore, I don't believe in just words but actions. Anyone can tell me they like me or I'm great but if they can actually show it to me - now that's when I'll be convinced. 

Now putting an effort is still not enough sometimes because without positivity or passion then everything you've done will be equally useless as to when you just say it. 

This was my experience, I had put a lot of effort in a friendly relationship for years. You have no idea how devoted I was to the point I thought I was so stupid. Yes I was stupid but I don't regret it. Probably the only sad part of this scenario is that we grew apart. Why? How?

Well, my efforts were enough I'm sure but what let me down was my way of thinking. I always thought the negative/ selfish ways of things and kept on measuring my actions over his. This is never a good idea.

So my lesson is to act out pure heartedly. Do things to please you and others.

Note: To all my friends and future suitors *haha* I prefer action. It does not matter how extravagant or simple your gesture is -- as long as you've thought about it and its for me. The meaningful the better. Gosh why am I such a romance freak!?! I'll never know.

Observation: Intentions

They say.. the eyes are the windows to our soul. 

This is true.

We are surrounded by random people everyday. So hearing stories about them is not only inspirational but new. The intention for surprise will really be there. 

Nonetheless, when one of your friends surprises you - its shocking?!?! You can definitely never know anyone THAT well. You're bound to discover little things about or from them every now and then whether its your colleague, friend, mother or even yourself. Yes you.

Meeting new people everyday is normal but knowing their intentions is what fascinates me. But before you jump into conclusions about me being a psycho... hear me out.

Intentions whether good or bad is what motivates a person. I've proven it today. Without intention, a person or situation can suddenly become irrelevant.

When I sensed the intention of my certain friend, I was shocked. Although he was not clear with his actions, I figured his premeditation.

So be careful what you wish for. Your eyes can speak louder.

Messy Monday

Its the start of the second week of April!

Monday.

Always a messy day for me. Its as messy as my inspiration board. Yes. That is my corner. My creative/mood board.

Being a graduating student and a freelancer is quite hard to juggle. I enjoy being under pressure but sometimes when a lot is going on - I literally PAUSE. 

Despite its disorganized manner, I find peace in my corner. It helps me focus and align my goals and objective as an individual. Ironic? Well we all are weirdly wired someway - this is mine.

Anyways, today is a Monday. I wonder what I will be doing today??? For starters; I'm in a mood for a quote:

The Universal Need for L.O.V.E.

Love is everywhere. For some reason, I'm recently surrounded by people falling in the pit of this so-called love. Its not like its a bad thing, I just feel like many jump into it without analyzing their situation.  So I dedicate this post to them and to me. ofcourse.

I must say, I too am somewhat caught in the midst of this thing called love. But thankfully I'm just in the first step that we usually call  like - admiration and getting to know. So if this prolongs, it might be if ever my first real relationship!!! The thought gets me cautious and scared. 

I am still not sure of his feelings for me so I'm not really expecting anything. Even so, I can not help but wonder if this is something real or a past time casual flirt reoccurrence. 

Some advised me to confront him regarding this matter but I my gut tells me its not the right time because of our tough situation.

We work together and its harder than I thought. Like the saying Don't eat where you poop. - this is true. 

But I hope over time, it will get serious.

The more I know about him makes me realize how complimenting we are to one another. I'd like to believe so. He is responsible, funny, practical, logical, caring, way too innocent and sensitive. He can be bipolar and egocentric at times but its something I like about him for some reason.

That's why I know love is powerful but risky. I just pray that once we set our own priorities straight, there will be clarity.

I also hope he likes me as much as I like him. *Fingers-crossed.

I consider myself a curious adventurer, risking things to enjoy and live in the finest moments life can offer. Luckily though, I'm not all that crazy. I can set my own limitations.

I'm a Scorpio that practically justifies my personality when it comes to love. Yes, everything you read about this zodiac sign is somehow me. I have a very sensual imaginative thoughts on every boy I've liked and still like but I can't say I'm a harlot. I just happen to have a creative mind to entertain myself. *wink Maybe this is a little too much info but this basically plays a huge part in my personality.

I'm sarcastic but honest. Playful but serious. It really depends on the situation. I care a lot about the people I love and I'm willing to defend them at all cost. I can say I'm a little possessive?  

I am my own person and I don't care what people think or say about me. 

My weakness however is my trust. I'd like to see the good in everything which is sometimes mistaken for me being gullible. Oh well! I'm still learning.
