Holding his hand up to block away the rays of sun that were coming from the window, Joshua looked up at the ceiling of the bedroom. It took him only a second to realize that he wasn't in his own room. A soft smirk crossed his lips before he turned to the side as he noticed that Desiree was still sleeping. Pausing for a moment, the vampire tried to listen to the sounds around the house. It became like a habit to him as soon as Josh would wake up.
