Day 2: Which Asian Drama(s) are you currently watching.
Since I missed about eight days and by the time I get near the end of the Asian drama challenge it might be the time I leave for Wales. So it’s better to do it now rather than having to do it later (since I never finish 30 day challenge. Orz.)
I just finished Rock n’ Road last night which starred Kimi Hsia, Chris Wu, Nita Lei and Mike Lee. ;__;
Anyhow, the only Asian drama I’m currently watching is Love Myself Or You/Pleasantly Surprised starring Puff Guo, Jasper Liu, Lene Lai and Jian Hong Lin.
Puff’s character it’s quite different to cliche characters like Lin Wei Zhen (played by Kimi Hsia) from Rock n’ Road and Liang Xiao Shu (played by Annie Chen) from Love Around.
She’s portrayed as a woman who is quite strong, feisty at times times I guess and I guess bossy when she’s in the kitchen, also she likes to be on her own since she doesn’t like to depend on others. (A bit like me I guess?)
Same goes for Jasper’s character it’s also different from manly badass character like Qi Yi (played by Aaron Yan) from Just You.
Figaro Cuisine is owned by his father, so Ah Jie is more likely to own the restaurant I guess? But all the workers from Figaro Cuisine mistakes him as lowly intern. Although no one really knows that the restaurant is owned by his father. Dayum. Kinda reminds me of Disney’s Ratatouille-ish.
Anyway, I really love the chemistry between Jasper and Puff (as you can tell from my profile photo/my posts lately. Lol)
