Thoughts of you.
The Slender half-elf made her way out of the barbershop, reaching up to gently touch the grown of her head, only to run slender, well manicured nails down through those locks, stopping with a soft sigh just below the neck as she self the left overs of their fishing excursion. Sighing once more, she smiles a touch at the though, shaking her head. She hadn’t spoken to her lover since they had parted ways, Kimiriah, going off to work, and Iya going to fix the damage wrought to her hair. Clasping her hands behind her back, she bites her lip gently as a thought enters her head, eyes gleaming coldy for a moment, before settling back to a baby blue. Blinking a few times, she mutters something incoherently, only to begin making her way through the crowded streets, off to her lovers home.
Stepping into the dark room, Iya slowly raises her hand, a ball of light forming in it, silhouetting the room with a golden glow as she looks around. The Place was an absolute mess, Books, books everywhere. The stench of half finished food permeates the place, the the sight of unwashed dishes, and overflowing garbage causes the woman to wrinkle her nose. Narrowing her gaze to the undone bedroom, she lets out a soft huff as a roach scampers slowly by her foot. Sucking in a breath, she narrows her gaze as she murmurs to herself something about needing supplies. Slipping back from the door, she turns, closing it once more as she heads back into town.
An hour later, Iya, and three burly, scarred men come wandering in, there was hardly the room for them all, with all this trash, though, Iya the soft jingle of coin tended to change a mans mind as to how cramped a space could be. Gesturing to it all, her voice is loud, and crystalline, Buckets are brought in from the hallway, as well as a beaten up Bookcase, as tall as a Kaldorei, with patches of stain rubbed off, and a small chip off to the side. It smelled of the sea, and it would. Iya had went to one of her few docked ships in the harbor, offering extra pay to those who come to help her on her quest, and having spotted it in the captains quarters, a firm word with him had proved fruitful. Now, standing, watching as her bidding was done, she smiled softly at the thought, her lovers face, seeing the room, in all its splender as one of her mates “Swabbed the deck.” so to speak, another taking care of the numerous paper boxes from one of the local inn’s, probably the Golden Keg, the scent of Pandarian food strong. Licking her lips, soon the Books against the wall her neatly stacked on the shelf, it was truely amazing the amount of space they had freed up. Another began washing what little counter she had, as the third began hauling trash out. Stepping forward, Even Iya dirtied her hands, something the crew members stared at for a moment, only to continue on with their work as she hummed softly, her voice twining through the house as she sang softly, her nimble hands slowly scrubbing, and washing the dishes one after another, replacing, and filling her cupboards.
Another hour went by, and then two, until finally, the Room was sparkling, or as sparkling as it could, the small sink, and toilet of her bathroom, even her shower had been scrubbed from head, to foot, the kitchen table was neatly arranged, the books, and papers literally resting on it neatly folded to each end, Granted, organization, or literacy was not a seaman’s first priority, however Iya gave them an A for effort. With the woman’s bed made, and her Writing desk stocked with fresh Ink, and Quills, Iya finally turns over to her bed. Biting her lip, she reaches down into her satchel, and pulls out a plain looking picture, the woman a lithe Half-elf, wearing her usual blue dress, and a half smile apon her lips. Nestling it gently on the pillow, she straightens it, only to turn, the scent of lemons, and other cleaning products floats through the room, before Iya slowly slips back to the door, gently closing it, only to make her way back towards the Deeptram, she had time, why not enjoy the ride?
