They look good ��. Yes those look authentic . The rice and beans uses coconut milk too can you do a scotch bonnet pepper ? We use that in almost all Jamaican meals it’s very hot but very good ��.

The cake uses raisin and cherries soaked in rum and we used red wine . For the color you can use burnt sugar or browning season for the black color . The jerk is a bunch of season blended like onion , thyme , scallion , ginger scotch bonnet pepper some nutmeg some sugar and pimento .

Thanks for the detailed recipe descriptions! i was going to use Green Chili and black pepper but i think I will make  scotch bonnet pepper!

Thyme is a well used herb for seasoning :) The rice and peas look delicious! Just like my mums :)

For the black cake u def need cherries, rum, eggs, flour, sugar... (thanks for making this, as a Trini ���� this means the world to me) The rice and peas (in Trinidad we call it pealau and u can use any peas with rice and coconut milk...

Thank you! I think I can use a lot of those ingredients for making the dishes. We basically have a dish very similar to Rice and Peas called ‘Rajma Chawal’! Also i need to taste Black cake someday :D

hi...i send you a request and a compliment for your great work last week, but i deleted my old account so i can make a new one. I cant wait for the jamaican foods to come out(im jamaican)!! my request was if you can make kawaii foods that is in japan even though sushi and ramen is already in the game...i mean like sweet kawaii foods and bubble teas!!
