More Kim Shattuck story time: When the touchies opened for the Muffs at the Casbah for the first time in 2014. The Muffs walked up to us while we were setting up to say, "Hi." and congratulate/thank us for being on the bill. Kim wanted to know why we were playing in the Atari Lounge and not the main stage. I told her that we were like porn set fluffers. @kimshattuck storytime: I could never have a normal conversation with Kim. Too star struck! When we played honeychain's Crushed album release party at @theredwoodbar in 2017, Kim came up to the stage after @the.touchies played all smiling like she was going to high five me. She said, "Hey!" I smiled and said, "Hey Kim!", she replied, "Your times up!" It took me a couple seconds to process that, then in my head I was, "Oh, she means get the fuck off the stage!". I hurriedly grabbed my shit off the stage. At the end of the night, Hillary from @honeychain was all, "Hey Stanze, is this your pedal adapter on the stage?"
