it's not that benji was a white knight, not at all. but when he saw something that he didn't think was right, he was usually quick to intervene. especially now, with the helpless girl surrounded by the three men, who were clearly overly excited and frightening her. she must be some sort of idol or celebrity, benji thinks as he shoves his way through the small crowd. his tattoos and bulky build, combined with the glare he sent their way, easily scares the trio off. the smile the girl sends him makes the soldier grin, head tilting curiously at her words. instead of answering right away, he simply pulls out the chair across from her, taking a seat. "of course, it ain't a problem. i could tell they were just makin' trouble, which isn't fair to you. i'm benji, by the way. glad i could help out. hopefully they don't come back, i don't wanna have to start a brawl." he muses, tone light and joking to try and ease up the female's nerves.
