the trees will tell you. if you listen.

of course it makes a sound; everything that happens in this universe makes a sound. trees will fall, and the earth will mourn its loss, and the sound will echo all through the grass and the stone. rivers rush, and fall, tumultuous, over rocks and cliffs and fish, and their singing sounds all through the core of the world, and the rush of magma under everything that humans cannot see will call back to them. humans fall in love, quickly, messily, and the trees can hear it, as clear as a child's laughter or the muted, twisting sound of a heartbreak.

ask of the trees why you cannot hear anything. they will tell you. your ears are full of the rushing of your blood, the beat of your heart, the filling of your lungs, the lightness of your joy, the depths of your sadness, the echoes of every little choice that you make. you hear more than you realize; and no trees are falling today.

A young woman I know has been in the hospital for over a week. She was in ICU for a week. A terrible infection brought on a fever of almost 107°. Thanks to prayer and good care, she is recovering. Gather Sunshine

It started with one stamp, ‘gather’, from the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 set.  I love it, just love it.  Then I began rooting around for word stamps or images that would go with it. Kinda Eclectic Ray of Sunshine

Eclectic is the true nature of this card.  A little bit of everything coming together to create something beautiful.  With these colors, stamped images, punches, and a perfect Walt Whitman quote, how could you go wrong?
