team rwby enters their dorm and notices that the beds can be moved. a grin is shared between the four girls.

weiss glyphs ruby’s bed above hers, all while rubes teases weiss about missing her being on top. (yang snickers at this to ruby’s confusion and weiss’s embarassment, blake gives yang a light punch in the shoulder.)

yang takes her bed, glances at blake, and moves it offscreen, cut to next scene.

later in the episode (or even volume), we cut back to team rwby asleep. ruby’s bed is above weiss’s, but blake and yang’s beds are pushed close together.

ships aside, it’s honestly a great way to show their relationships now: ruby and weiss are so used to their arrangement that anything different would feel weird, and yang and blake are so close that they might as well just move their goddamn beds together; no harm in that.

i mean, this probably won’t happen, but i can dream!
