Aww, poor girl, I can see how tired you are. Want to lay your head in my lap? I promise I'm not going to hypnotize you again.
I had a vision
I gave up on the background-editing stuff lowkey
human cas was such a mood sometimes. Like “do you not tire of having to urinate” valid question it is stupid that once u pee u still have to do it again being human is a chore.

(UR DESIGNS ARE SO PEAK STOP.)
I see love, you saw love, you see love, I saw love.
My hands trace the sunrise on your waist, and I bite my lip to bleed straight onto your teeth.
I have had my turn with luck and your face is losing color.
You swallow it down,
Languid from the morning.
If your rebirth costs me my life,
I am a man at war,
Rising from the trenches and walking into the bullets standing frozen in the battlefield air.
You are a miracle when you are alive,
Veins and heart singing,
Relief kissing your face,
Noon sun like a halo flowering behind you.
I am sinking,
Stomach flipping at my downfall,
Feet expecting rock bottom,
But I look up and you float over me like an angel.
Even in the midst of being unlucky,
I cannot deny that losing luck to you feels just as lucky as having it myself.
When evening comes,
You bite your tongue and bleed into my mouth.
By then I am starved,
Gasping like a fish back in water,
Licking at the metal to wash the salt off my tongue,
And you bleed,
Sighing like this is relief for you too.
I take flight and it feels like a miracle
Wind making my eyes water,
Your kisses raining to my face,
Moonlight behind me, I feel invincible.
But I see the shadow I cast on you,
I see you fall and expect the worst,
And even in the midst of being lucky,
I cannot deny that taking luck from you feels just as unlucky as never having luck at all.
There are two moments each day,
When the sun and the horizon lock eyes behind our windows,
And under linen, we do the same.
There we are both hungry, even with our mouths full,
And there we are both satiated, even with our hearts empty.
Luck does not hide in our bloodstream,
It hides in our willing sacrifice,
Meaning it never really hides at all,
And it never truly leaves,
Not even when it does.
