Belle, the Machinist’s Daughter
After the castle’s curse was lifted, a workshop was built in the castle for Belle and her father, Maurice. For years, her father had worked in this workshop for his machinery. Belle also had her own takes for machinery.
Belle; being wondrous, smart, and a little out of the ordinary; made contraptions as time goes by. Getting bigger and more mechanical as contraptions go by, until her favorite creation was made, her Copper Rose.
Her family lineage had been notorious for being nutty with machines and clockwork, it was about time Belle entered the family craft, excelling at it as well.
Functionality - The abilities available for use will be dependent on the Parts that her mech currently possesses. For example, her mech having a drill will make it able to Drill stone enemies dealing massive damage.
Notable Party Relationships:
Rapunzel, Aurora - They are book buddies. Though their favored book subject matters are really different: Belle’s being Science and Technology, Aurora’s being Magic and Mythical Legends, Rapunzel’s being Common Skills and Knowledge. The fact that they like books is enough for them to bond for.
Tiana - Belle is always fascinated with the advanced technology in New Aureleans (this Universe’ version of New Orleans), how they work with clockwork and steam works. Also given that New Aureleans was a former colony of her kingdom, Aureleans; they also share a lot of culture and history.
OP’s Notes:
I think I may have gone a bit overboard with this one; just a little. This took longer than expected, due to work and A LOT OF COMPONENTS in this drawing. I’m quite satisfied with the product.
I made Belle ride a Steampunk mech, because WHY NOT? Plus it fits her intelligence and the fact that her father is a machinist. And it looks cool.
In this RPG Universe, ALL movies occur in a VERY CLOSE time period; therefore, all the movies happen at the expanse of maybe 10-15 years.
Also, this Universe will NOT be associated with real-life parallels:
Example of the adjustments:
“America” will NOT exist. So, no USA, no New Orleans. New Orleans is converted to New Aureleans (because of etymology).
History in real-life doesn’t apply here. This universe will have its own world history. The same goes for geography.
Any location that has a name that is a commonly used in real-life will be replaced with an etymological equivalent replacement (i.e.: China (Mulan’s location) becomes the Middle Kingdom)
I decided that the modern (post-industrial) period setting of The Princess and the Frog be converted to a Soft Steampunk setting. ONLY Belle (and maybe future OCs) can be Hardcore Steampunk.
