there are times when I feel really torn between liking something and disliking something, and there are times when something I like for every other reason has some glaring flaw I should hate it for.
ever since I sorta got into a few issues I was completely ignorant about up until a few months ago it's been a pretty nonstop train of 'hey all the cool guys you grew up with actually have shitty opinions on some really important issues, stop liking them!'
like I get looks from people when I tell them to buy the new monster hunter because I shouldn't be supporting capcom at all because they're shitty now.
or suddenly I'm not allowed to like Penny Arcade anymore because they have questionable views on transgender stuff (I don't even really understand the situation that much???), even though I've looked up to them as an example of how gaming can be beneficial to society since I was like fucking seven.
and apparently I'm not allowed to like someone just because I disagree with them on a singular issue?
I dunno really where I'm going with this but it's bothered me for the past while so I just thought I'd throw this out here. I guess I'm just good at ignoring flaws and liking specific parts.
