period drama ( two words still counts?)

Two words totally still count. I love love love the Bloody Jack series, which isn’t necessarily a period drama but totally counts as a period piece. The Season by Sarah Maclean is the perfect romantic period drama in a YA book - and she writes my favorite adult romance.(PS: Movie recommendations sidebar! The 2006 Jane Eyre with Ruth Wilson, the 2005 Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley, North and South with Richard Armitage and Belle are my favorite period films.)
