Soooo, let's talk about Art. About 2 years ago (when I did not know that you do art, @lilyoffandoms ), there was this Art Day in my Pharmacy School (let's call it Hogwarts or Penderghast, hehe). I was sitting in front of the white canvas, not knowing what to draw. The night before, I was researching some ideas on what to draw. A beautiful red rose? Nature? [Perhaps my favorite Choices pairing, Nik&Alex but then everyone/students would be like... who are these people? Are you the girl? If yes, who's the blondie? Oohhhh, secret relationship. So, of course, I definitely didn't draw them. That's already embarrassing for me to play Choices, especially seeing how much the app changed. Ewww. You Americans would not mind a Choices player but here... 😂] Sorry for rambling. To the point: I was sitting in front of the white canvas with no idea and I admire those artists who can draw and create amazing Art. You're a miracle. The way you draw out of your heads... Wow!! Amazing!! So I basically just searched for a photo and tried to draw the same and... Ahhhhh, I struggled almost 80% of the time with the background color(s). Too light? Too dark? Too light? Too dark? (...) It has to be right!! Why do I have eyes for colors??! Almost 15 minutes before the deadline was announced, it made me accept the current background and made me add two flowers to it in a hurry. The right flower was already added first which looks more realistic than the last two ones 😂

I'm not saying I never drawed, but years passed. I was surprised some liked my pencil art in late primary school & middle school. Which I still don't understand. Using a pencil is easy, but paint brush and digital art??!! Oh.

How did your art journey started?

So I admire you, your art inspires people to do digital art. You're all lovely talents who I admire. Especially digital art is much more difficult than doing it by pencil (I think). I felt like I had to tame a paintbrush, lol. You all are doing amazing work!!! Keep it up!!

PS: I thought of showing my painting but when looking at it again, I... 😅 Uhhhhh...

bahaha Yeah the not wanting to be perceived as a Choices player is real and universal 🤣 I don’t admit that to anyone outside of here and my partner (oh and bus collab guy since he busted me drawing a character from Choices once oops).

I started my art journey way back when. One of my undergrad degrees is in 2D art and art history. Mosaics and watercolor are my favorite mediums. I didn’t started digital art until Covid hit since I couldn’t attend art classes any longer.

And yeah I agree. I think digital was harder for me to get a handle on than holding a paintbrush or pencil in my hand. Still haven’t learned how to shade in digital without it looking suspect haha And yeah I feel ya on the colors. What are colors? I cannot perceive colors in normal ways i think lol

Ahhh thank you!! I had so much fun with each of them. I have two more I’m trying to get right before I post them but I’ll probably revisit the series with new characters every now and again because they were so much fun!
