Hello friends and folks! This is admin Alex speaking! This is the brand new kinfolkpickmeup. For those of you wondering what in the world happened to the last blog, let me explain. But before that, I extend my most sincere apologies. What happened there should have never happened. That blog, as is this one, is supposed to be safe for all kinfolk. An old admin decided to spam the old blog with explicit images. That was wrong, uncalled for and unjustified. It was motivated by personal drama that I will not go into detail about. What the admins who moved with me aim to do on this blog is to get back into the game with as little drama as possible. But it’s still important to acknowledge and explain what happened. If you’d still like to follow the blog and help us on this new journey, then that would be super great! A fresh start gives us the chance to organize, come together and be stronger than ever. Hopefully we won’t have to face any more extended hiatuses! That being said, nobody can blame anybody who no longer feels safe following us because of what happened. Explicit imagery can be disturbing and triggering, I completely understand and those feelings are valid. Nor can we really blame anybody who felt upset during the hiatus. Best wishes everybody! The inbox will open for requests as soon as we’ve all had the chance to cool down from this experience <3. Much love,
