Joko wanted to be the Commander's arch-nemesis soooooooooo bad it made him look stupid. When he realized that the Commander had the strength to come back from the dead and whip Balthazar's ass he immediately tried to insert himself into the story and puff himself up as the biggest bad the Commander has ever faced. He went through the trouble of lining his torture rooms with fake corpses of the Commander, creating elaborate deadly traps and puzzles so he could mock the Commander, kidnapping Taimi so the Commander would take him seriously... all for the Commander to whip his ass in one go no dragon powers solo and then be devoured by an adolescent dragon.

What a fucking loser.
