you forgot the napkins to my happy meal again- bakugou gets a job at mcdonalds. bakusquad regularly comes in to harass him. one time they come in at 3 am and find a beat up mic harassing bakugou w the title line. mic had stopped by after a rough patrol bc eri had a nightmare, mc donny will cure the fear. this doesnt explain the other two happy meals though. bakusquad tries to grill baku for more info but mic tells em to fuck off. they go to school later and see a happy meal cat toy on aizawas desk, figure out the rest from there idk man

A dumb thing but:

In Japanese folklore theres a creature called the "Baku" - a creature with an elephant's trunk, rhinos eyes, tigers paws and ox's tail which could eat reoccurring dreams and nightmares, and if summoned too often, people's emotions. It became known as a protective creature which would help people sleep, and would have its likeliness put into shines and protective amulets.

The name obviously reminds me of a certain bnha character, but I just made another really dumb connection: bakugou is the one who tries to kill dekus dreams and fulfill them himself. He and his mother are both overly emotional, whilst in comparison his father is drained. Despite being quite destructive and abrasive, he wishes to become a hero and protect the public.

Anyways, I have a habit of comparing characters to myths, and now I have one more comparison to add to my list!
