King is already a fairly…difficult person in general. But being in a relationship with him was on another level.
No one knew HOW you did it. Everyone was just surprised that King of all people was in a relationship.
Queen still can’t believe it. Constantly asking you if everything is okay and if you need help.
King isn’t very experienced in the love department. Even at his big age, he’s not exactly sure how to treat a partner.
Doesn’t understand when you disagree with him on topics. He’s used to yes men agreeing with everything he says.
When you come along and challenge his usual thinking and authority, he actually enjoys it. He loves your little debates. You give him another outlook on certain topics. He may not change his opinion entirely but he respects yours
He loves when you do agree with him on certain things because he can vent to you and rather than just listening you can attribute to the conversation. It’s kind of cute seeing him get so worked up complaining about Queen’s stupid performances.
King expresses his love for you in ways unique to him mostly.
He’ll make up some kind of well throughout excuse to see you throughout the day. Everyone knows he just wants to see you and there’s no reason why he has to come up with a 3-page paper on why he needs to see you at the exact moment
“I need to go help ( y/n ) with the project I assigned for them yesterday.”
Bestie we didn’t ask, just go see them.😭😭
The type to critic you and then a pet name at the end to somewhat soften the blow. It throws you off every time

He’s getting used to the phrase “I love you”. He’s still having trouble saying it. In its place, he uses “I truly cherish you” He’ll pause between his words unintentionally because he wants to say the word love but it just comes out as cherish
The first time he just bit the bullet and told you he loved you was before he set off on a long mission. He wasn’t sure exactly when he would be back and he wasn’t even sure if you’d feel the same way about him when he returned. So he just let it out. You could sense him smiling under his mask when you said it back
King thinks his feelings are corny LMAOOO
He wishes to hold you in his arms because that’s where he believes you are the safest. But will NEVER say that out loud. Because he thinks it’s corny and cliché
He definitely would want to kiss you under the moonlight because he thinks the moon highlights your beauty. But will he say that? Nah
He’s a straightforward guy when it comes to everything. But romance? He’s going to beat around the bush a lot
If you do figure out what he wants, he’ll 100% DENY it.
“You wanna kiss me?”
“I said nothing of the sort.”
But internally he’s screaming yes repeatedly.
King has this very large vendetta against PDA. There’s nothing you can tell him that will make him change his mind. Especially since he has an image to keep up? I can promise you, you will not be getting any kind of embrace or kiss in front of anyone.
Despite this, King makes it VERY clear that the two of you are together.
When in public you are likely by his side or slightly ahead of him, never behind him.
The eye contact he holds with you while you are speaking. Oh my god he’s whipped
The absolutely TERRIFYING glares he gives everyone else who looks at you in a way he doesn’t like
King does know his boundaries and while he can be possessive, he knows you can handle yourself and when he needs to step in and take control of a situation
In private, King is a bit more relaxed. The mask comes off and you get to see the true beauty 😵💫😵💫😵💫
He adores your touch. His favorite thing is when you hold his face in your hands. He feels the weight of the world fall off his shoulders and he’s put at ease.
Honestly doesn’t mind when you call him Alber, seems to actually prefer it. But only you though, no one else
King’s love language is quality time
He loves the time the two of you spend together alone in the comforts of your shared room doing literally nothing in silence because your presence alone is what keeps him at ease
