Fictober19, Day 13: “I never knew it could be this way.”
Fandom: Achievement Hunter, King au.
Pairing: Jeremwood, King Ryan, Servant Jeremy.
Word count: 377

Synopsys: Jeremy has fallen in love with the King and is sure they could never be together.
Jeremy had never been very fond of the royal family, but when he started working at the castle he was surprised to find that the newly crowned King, Ryan, was a very likable man. Jeremy was also surprised by how much the King seemed to pay attention to him, Ryan would call on him specifically for tasks and even initiated conversations with him more than he did other staff. It was this attention, paired with Ryans' overall personality, that leads to Jeremy falling in love with him. But Ryan was the King and Jeremy was just a servant.
"You called for me?" Jeremy stood in the Kings room, Ryan was at the window looking out over the garden.
"Yes, I wanted to speak to you." Ryan turned, giving Jeremy a reassuring smile.
"What do you want to speak about?"
"I've appreciated your hard work here, and I've noticed your, attentiveness." Ryan made his way to where Jeremy stood.
"I take my job very seriously sir." Jeremy looked past the King, unable to meet his eyes.
"It's rude not to look at someone when they're talking to you." Ryan lightly rann his fingertips from below Jeremy's ear down along his jawline.
Jeremy swallowed, his eyes snapping to Ryans.
"My King."
"Call me Ryan."
"I don't understand."
Ryan gave Jeremy a tempting smile as he placed his hands on his shoulders and guided Jeremy towards the bed.
"You've caught my eye, and I've observed that you've done the same with me."
"My Ki- Ryan, I'm flattered but this isn't appropriate." Jeremy's legs hit the end of the bed.
"Perhaps not." Ryan gave Jeremy a light shove, pushing him onto the bed. "But I don't care." Ryan crawled over Jeremy, their lips were so close to meeting.
“I never knew it could be this way,” Jermey spoke lightly.
"It can be any way I want it, I am the King." Ryan pressed his lips to Jeremy's savoring the feeling.
Jeremy grabbed Ryans' shoulders, scared that he was dreaming, but found that Ryan was true flesh and blood. Pulling away Jeremy looked up at Ryan.
"But, I'm just a servant."
"Oh, Jeremy." Ryan kissed Jeremy's' neck, pulling his shirt away to get to his shoulder. "You're so much more than that."
