Graves could have killed ghost, soap, and the vaquaros

He has had so many options to do so

First meeting in the gunship, Could have sunned them down, and a good few times with the gunship too

Could have killed soap by not giving soap the emblem of shadow company.

And much more ways he could have killed them but those are the main one that I saw.

Phil trusted them. He was trying to get them to live to try and fix his own mistakes of loosing his shadows

Because it was shepard who fucked him over, the shadows literally called out to graves in the scene between hindsight and ghost team this shows that graves shadows calling out, and shepard not allowing graves to get backup to give aid to his boys

This just shows that graves cares for his boys

And shepard forced the covered and using it as black mail to control Phil like an attack dog

Adding to this, we may yet have some sort of information for grave either in past file reports that he may be dead. But I am a firm believer that graves is still kicking behind the scene as now.

Adding to lore with ale and val with my other lore ideas for them here and here

Something thing just.....makes sense

"Don't make a deal with her. It won't end well" which alejandro says himself in the scene deal with the devil, and I believe that the plot went like this:

Ale made a deal with val, she'll protect his family while he goes on a drug bust or something, then after returning and finding out val executed his family, maybe because she had ties with some criminals. Or she wanted to stop/ prevent alejandro doing things like going after cartel

But, she didn't kill them infront of ale nono, ale walked into the house and its a strong smell of blood and boom found their bodies. His farther laying on the floor by the front door, his mother in the bedroom protecting his younger sibling, all three dead, eyes wide open and they have been there for a few days, and ale just screams in pain as he holds his mother, muttering forgiveness as he couldn't protect his family, trusted the wrong people

It broke him

This made him twice as determined to get rid of the cartel in Las almas, his home for his family and raises the quote rudy says

is that he went after val, Fueled by pure rage and sadness to hunt her and her cartel, which is why he works himself to exhaustion, he has no family to go back to, so he keeps fighting keeps going until he just can't
