The longest non-infinite cdash in the game extends from this wall in Crystal Peak all the way through King's Pass, measuring at a whopping 442 units.

The Spider blinked in surprise at Lumen until Hollow bent down to stare at her, as if to silently say “I told you so”. She glanced over at them and narrowed her eyes, growling “Don’t you look at me like that.”

She then scoffed and turned away from the Moth, probably because she didn’t want to see the angry look in his eyes. “Perhaps I was wrong about you,” She said, “I did not realize you were a Moth. I had not seen a live one in some time, aside from the old lady living in Crystal Peak.”

Lumen huffed and planted his hands on his hips, frowning. “I’m sorry, are you going to apologize to me? You tried to kill me just a few minutes ago.”

She looked back and glared at him, but Hollow circled around to stare at her again. That made her pause, and then she sighed, shook her head, and turned to Lumen.

“I’m sorry for trying to kill you. However, I still cannot simply allow you to walk away free. You see, Hallownest had been struck by a great calamity long ago and had only been freed from it a year ago, so the land as a whole is very vulnerable. At any moment an outside army could come and crush us, so I cannot afford to leave anything to chance. So,” She brandished her weapon and pointed it at Lumen, causing him to flinch back and gasp, “You will be coming with me. I will need to learn your motive for being here before I can let you wander freely.”

🪲The Knight advanced cautiously into the darkness🪲 In this scene I painted 2 backgrounds. One is the walls, statues, flowers etc. The other one is the ground that the knight walks on. The darkness is just a static black circle on it's own layer. The backgrounds and Lumaflies are increased in size, which gives the illusion that we're moving forward. Of the large downwards room transitions in the game, only the fall into King's Pass is two-way. Attempting to reenter the transition from below will cause the player to fall out of bounds until they hit the hazard respawn plane. The camera will incorrectly stay locked onto the rightmost part of the room until the player takes damage to an enemy or hazard.

The hazard respawn plane initially uses the player's respawn coordinates from the previous room. Interestingly, after the first respawn the hazard respawn coordinates are updated to 204.9, 27.1, which is on the cusp of the ledge by the fall down to KP. This is the only way to get these hazard respawn coordinates without the use of mods, making their existence pointless in normal gameplay.

As Hornet approached the body, she realized that she’d been had. While she was ziplining up the shaft to chase the intruder, they had dressed one of the many long-dead corpses, a Dragonfly in this case, that lined the tunnels in their strange cloak and hat, which were in a clothing style she was unfamiliar with, and are now are either hiding somewhere nearby or have managed to reach the exit leading to Dirtmouth during her moment of distraction.

She will admit though, it was pretty cleaver. Even the haemolymph trail left by the cut she left on her prey’s chin had stopped there, likely because they had a cloth to staunch the bleeding with. There was no way of telling where they had gone and now she had to decide on if whether they ran to Dirtmouth or are still nearby and hope that even if she were to make the wrong decision and they escape, they wouldn’t be able to get very far.
