Happy migraine and headache awareness month. This may seem like a minor terminology nitpick, but it’s a serious misconception about migraine: nausea is an actual migraine symptom, not a thing that happens because of the headache. When people with migraine experience nausea during attacks, it’s not because the pain is so bad (the idea that migraine is always excruciatingly painful is also a myth), it’s because migraine causes a lot of symptoms that aren’t pain, including nausea.

This goes for other symptoms as well: although pain can definitely contribute to people’s experiences of these symptoms, fatigue and brain fog are actual migraine symptoms, not just pain symptoms.

This is also your friendly PSA that nausea is not a normal tension headache symptom, if you frequently get nauseous with your headaches, you almost certainly have migraine.

Basically its this:

1. Yes I think tgirls should be allowed and even encouraged to transition. And while it is true to say that you don't necessarily need to do certain physical changes to call yourself a girl, often times this sentiment is shared to downplay the importance of transition and even coerce girls away from it. So I think its vital to actively support, encourage, and assist in full medical and physical transition instead of mere platitudes of "you dont have to transition to be heckin valid!"

omg had like the best d5 everdark maris expedition that started with triple wylder memeing into my teammates truly appreciating my carian swordcery wylder tastes into a sudden balancer raid before we got any invaders done into a slow but steady and calm godrick into finally doing invaders into not making it to lvl 15 but its ok because we were just all attuned to each other into a really smooth as hell fallingstar beast into finally getting to everdark maris and getting REALLY SCARED because we were getting downed left snd right and balancers saved us a few times until one wylder had to use up a wending grace but he got me up and while he was fending off the boss bubbles i got the other wylder up and we WOOOON. everdark maris is literally fun.

Ok so I’ve been playing for 18 years and i’m a string teacher. Can i just say how IMPORTANT it is for young kids to see a BLACK, MALE-PRESENTING PERSON playing, nae, SHREDDING on a violin? I’ve know maybe 5 black people who played stringed instruments throughout my schooling and teaching (predumably because i’m an upper middle class white woman). In districts where the population is predominantly black, funding is always low, so the instruments are crappy. Kids quit, or the program is dismantled. I’ve seen very few professional string players who are black.

Obviously there are black string players. We just don’t see them because they “don’t look like” string players.

This person is the real deal. They were clearly classically trained, and seems to have some fiddle training as well. How cool is that?
