“Can Pawniard come out to play?”
I can't stop thinking about them I'm so so so very sorry
My opinion tier list of most evil to merely annoying evolution methods.
This was gonna be a reblog to @pokemonblack3white3 's remark about about the dev cruelty of obtaining Gholdengo but this got to be a bit too much.
... I know Spiritomb isn't an evolution but getting it in PLA requires the same kind of effort as evolving two specific mons so it gets an honorary evil status. (Granted Spiritomb and Zygarde 100% are literally a tenth of the effort for Gholdengo but still.)
Level up is the neutral base mark for the tiers. Specific evolution methods (specific/high stat, location for evolution, real time, holding item while leveling up, being given an item / stone, gender requirements, game-specific branching evolutions, location's weather) are not shown because I consider them not that annoying in comparison to the above mons. Technically I could've folded nature branching evolutions to Randomized but you can still predict them.
For the record I find the wide variety of evolution methods to be interesting... as long as its not me trying to get them.
