After they had finished their dinner with the family, Edmund brought Brynn out onto the back balcony so that they could be alone. He encircled his arms around her waist as she stepped close to him to run her fingers through his hair.
Edmund: "So, what did you think of my family?"
Brynn: "They're really nice, although I'm not sure what your dad thinks of me."
Edmund: "I wouldn't take that incident too seriously. My parents just have a strange way of showing when they like someone, but I'm glad you like them because there is a reason I brought you out here."
