i think you're absolutely right !! it's come to a point where they are so natural w/ each other that if they have any complaints w/ each other they just discuss it out and resolve it immediately and not let it sit around (not that they have any complaints w/ each other!) ALSO have you seen that endcard where kiyoshi is carrying riko on his shoulders?? it s so cute !! ALSO RIP HYUUGA....

they're so comfortable w/ each other so i feel like they did date for a little bit just to see where it went and realized "we're both such moms lets just stay mom friends and destroy junpei sounds good? sounds good."

i just feel like beth dying is proof that a lot of the backstage activity is figuring out ways to kill off all these multifaceted female characters that don't cater to the common male audience. michonne fights, carol learned how to fight, and maggie is up glenn's ass, and they're alive (i still love them, don't get me wrong). beth was kind and gentle, she's dead. lori prioritized being a nurturing mother, she's dead. andrea was independent even with a man, she's dead. it just feels planned idk??
like i love all these girls i feel like they give the show so much dimension and are strong by themselves and within the group. but if female characters show sexual freedom that is purely their choice, choose to nurture instead of physically fight, or try to hold onto positivity over grittiness, they end up getting killed off. i'M RLY SORRY FOR SENDING U THIS I JUST FEEL LIKE U KNOW TWD SO WELL AND I FEEL LIKE U'D UNDERSTAND PLS STOP ME IF I'M BUGGING U
No I'm with you 100%. I love all the ladies on the show but I am so so done with them all being almost carbon copies of each other. Every one of them is that ~classic female badass. Yes they have their moments of being that traditionally feminine but ultimately they are all the same. The show needed characters like Beth Greene.
If speculation is to be believed and Tyreese is the next character to die, who is left but a group of people that are slowly getting colder and harsher? Who will be left to be the heart?
God forbid the fanboys have to watch a character who loves and sings and smiles and takes care of the baby, let alone a FEMALE doing all those things.
I could probably write more about this if I was in a better head space but I'm just not with it at all, I'm sorry.
