An easy trick is to do a grayscale with a full range of values and then just overlay the appropriate colors in a different layer!
i should probably do this all the time due to the fact that im gr8 at grayscale but shit at just going in on the coloring

i know, we should've had some horrendous 3-foot snow dump by now (my fave kind of snow) but practically nothing!! i just can't excited abt it anymore there's too much anticipation and i'm scared to be let down. we can just skip it instead, try again next year
