He was fairly familiar with the idea of multiple realities at this point, having been to a couple of alternate ones himself. And, he was pretty sure this was another one. Not quite the same New York he was used to, but close. Closer than the last one he was in, at least. This one wasn’t destroyed.
He had is hands tucked into his pockets, following along with a crowd of people as they move down the street, his eyes turned up toward the buildings around him as he tried to both pick out the differences between this reality and his own, and decide what to do about it now that he found himself here. Maybe he should just... stay for a bit. Who knew what the Eddie Brock of this world had gotten himself into, maybe he wasn’t a wanted criminal, and Eddie could take a breather or something. All he ever really needed was his other, and as long as they were together, the where didn’t matter much.
Eddie wasn’t paying much attention to where he was going as he thought about it, and didn’t even notice the person too close to him until his shoulder bumped into the smaller guy. He stopped, turning to apologize, and found the words stuck slightly. It almost looked like Parker, the same Peter Parker who’d caused so many problems for him back home, but younger. Early twenties, maybe, but still recognizable.
Well, there was one way to tell if there was a Venom in this world - see how the younger-than-his webslinger reacted to him. “Sorry,” he offered. “Wasn’t looking where I was going.”
