Shade was experiencing a similar rude awakening.
The first thing he noticed was that he had no idea where on earth he was. Normally, he would expect to see the swirling greys of his void upon awakening, or at the very least, earth's sky. That was a ceiling above him which should not be possible for someone his size, or someone the size he was supposed to be.
But it got worse, it wasn't just his size that was missing.
As he sat up and put a hand to his head, there was a notable lack of that thick, fluffy hair he took so much pride in and he jolted in shock at the notable difference in the feeling of his own head (was that a receding hairline??) and his hand for that matter, which felt rough and well-used.
He dared to look down at the rest of his body. That was not his body.
Jumping to his feet with a level of agility he was unaccustomed to, he rushed to the nearest reflective surface to see Bishop's face staring back at him.
Well this was less than ideal.
