Being a fictive in a system can be very isolating. I struggle a lot with making and keeping friends, especially sourcemates. I want to meet people with similar experiences as me but my experiences and memories are so hyperspecific that it's hard to relate to other people.

Hello Caine!

I really like butterflies, mantises, and fireflies! My favorite type of butterfly is definitely a viceroy, I think they're really cute :). I love carolina mantises and I have a pet mantis who is a giant asian mantis! And I love all sorts of fireflies... it's the perfect time of year to see them! They're actually really easy to catch because they fly pretty slowly. Oh and I also like paper kite butterflies! So pretty... also did you know most of the monarch butterflies shown in tadc promotional materials are male? You can tell because they have a small gland on their lower wing. I'm in college for environmental studies right now and I've gotten the opportunity to actually help raise and identify butterflies it's been really fun! OH and did you know you can differentiate viceroys and monarchs not only by size, but also by the fact that viceroys have a black line across their lower wings? It's so cool! :)
