STOCKHOUSE
Stockhouse is located on Jacka Blv, St Kilda. This is an independent building that has two types of restaurants. On the first floor the food is more finger/ bar food with amazing views of the beach and the city, while on the second level the food is finer dines. The atmosphere is very beautiful on the second level with on one side of the room is facing the ocean, while on the other side pieces of wood cover the wall and interesting lighting is scattered throughout the whole sealing. The staff is very friendly and polite by making recommendations on what they believe is worth trying and making sure that their guests are well looked after. The food preparation time was not long and presentation was impeccable.
One of my favorite dishes was the seared yellow fin tuna which was three long pieces of seared tuna that had a mayonnaise and wasabi sauce underneath and garnished with small pieces of pink pickled ginger, basil, soy sauce and sesame seeds on top.
Another incredible dish was the saltwater ceviche. This dish includes the salt water fish, daikon and mandarin vinaigrette. The presentation of the plate was small cut pieces of fish wrapped together in a rose shape and the waiter pouring the vinaigrette in front of you; which added an incredible experience feeling. Pricing for this restaurant is on the heftier side; however is well worth it for the incredible fine dines service, friendly staff, exceptional food and spectacular food.
