That happens to me all the time, Normally if I start my computer it’ll work, If not try plugging it somewhere else then back into your computer :)
i've tried doing that my ipod just randomly started this like one day i plugged it into my dock and it wouldn't charge so i was like ok and plugged it in the computer and it worked all these days but just today it stopped working and won't work and i tried plugging it in the back and it connected to the computer but when i plugged it into my ipod it wouldn't charge i just ugh
