Prairie Giants In 1977, as the Camrose-Kingman rail line was removed, this classic Alberta Wheat Pool grain elevator was moved from the town of Kingman, Alberta, 8 miles, to now sit on a privately-owned farm. Originally the elevator was on the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway line running to Calgary with daily freight and passenger service. It was a busy place. Train service ended and the rails removed in 1978. #grainelevator #prariegiants #kingmanalberta #albertahistory #mytravellinglens #albertawheatpool #albertawheatpoolgrainelevator (at Kingman, Alberta) https://www.instagram.com/p/CoZ_iNRr1Kn/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
