Black Poets should love- not loathe
As an elixir for peace
Black Poets should love like element; raw..pure- not love
Like a false prophecy of choreographed intent
Black Poets should meditate- but not voice
What they feel is right by fixing reciprocated failed attempts
Thinking that solutions are like coins- on one side, or the other
Black Love for Black Poets, Black People
Drums, music, heart beat beating from what we feel
Being able to sing to it for the chords give shape
As we color
With the understanding that Black is skin, and
An Experience
Black is also dark and rich to hide the sweet
Until the brave dare taste
Let all Black die as lovers
