Headcanon: Roommate
To determine where they should fit in his kingdom--and because it amuses him--Astaroth himself decided to study Kaya, moving in with her in one of the lesser used dorms and even attending classes with her. Surprisingly, the two get along rather well, all things considered.
Sometimes she even almost likes him!
Headcanon: Kingdom of Rot
Kaya, as well as the other Deadmen, are considered to be members of Astaroth--The King of Rot’s-kingdom by both demons and exorcists alike. This is because they were "born" of the disease caused by a failed summoning attempt; though their exact place in his kingdom is unclear as they don't fit into the natural hierarchy.
