Startled root-beer and foam shaded eyes lifted to meet the stranger’s gaze for but a moment before lowering again. “Thou must be a Northern. Thou shouldst be careful herest in Calormen. Thou mayst fallst into the hand ofst dangerous men. Men who wouldst not hesitate to takest fromst thee thine life... ifst not more.” Chaniya breathed shakily. Her gaze shifting anxiously over her shoulders.
“I amst afraid I can protectest thee naught if mine brothers..... or other Calormen soldiers comest....” she confessed softly. Her fingers coiled upon her own wrists where the scars of rope burns were etched deeply within her tanned skin.

She had been wandering this land for what felt like an eternity. Was it always to be Kitty that managed to get herself lost? She wouldn't be surprised if nobody even noticed her absence back at home. It wasn't as though Lydia was around to care anymore.
Muttering coarse words under her breath, she was suddenly caught off guard by a gentleman appearing in front of her. A gasp left her lips as she bowed her head in greeting.
"Forgive me, sir. I seem to have found myself so terribly lost."

He blinked and the room began to take form around him, allowing the darkness to crawl back to the corners. The young King's hand hovered up over the back of his head for a brief moment, while he tried to asses what happened. His temples throbbed and it felt like there was a rock glued to his forehead. "What...happened?" Caspian murmured, looking up at the people that peered in around him. The last thing he could remember was Destrier spooking when a loud clap of thunder hit a nearby tree. It had been years since he'd been tossed from a ride; and, the first thing that still came to mind was his dear companion. "Where's my horse?"

The seas had been calm, the weather perfect for sea-voyages. Even the sun, still summer-time hot, was cooled by the patches of clouds that swam happily across its face every now and again. Their voyage had been long and careful, eyes ever open for threat of corsairs or other attackers. But none had come, and they had sailed these many days in peace. Docked at last, Lothiriel stood on the deck, watching as everything was made ready for her descent. They had not known of this strange new land for long, but its discovery meant a great deal of diplomatic work. Dol Amroth was at the forefront of this enterprise.
Her arrival, however, was not so much for the purpose of trade or military negotiations. She was here as a symbol of friendship and good faith, and - in the most simple terms of all - simply to visit. She had long been curious about this Narnia and its people, and had been thrilled at the chance to see it for herself.
When all was finally made ready she disembarked, eyes flitting among the varied people who had come to greet the ship. She paused as soon as her feet met the solid wood of the dock, allowing herself this brief moment to get her bearings. Her traveling companions - a few nobles, a guard, and her maidservant - fell into step behind her. "The king, highness," said one of the nobles, and nodded in the direction of a golden haired man who looked to be not much older than the princess. "Yes, thank you. I thought as much." Moving forward until she stood before the king, Lothiriel sank into a graceful bow and then rose again a moment later. "Well met, King Tirian of Narnia," she said with a smile. "Your fair country certainly lives up to the rumors of its great beauty."
☾ : Sleep headcanon
Caspian is a night owl and can never sleep before midnight. He also stays awake to enjoy time to himself, his thoughts, and the stars. He also sleeps very lightly, and finds it hard to sleep, especially when there is someone pacing outside of the room.
