THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN (i love talking about books. i recommend all of them!)
I want to have a Wellamy fic where Wells goes to his father, because he wants to marry Bellamy. (He hasn't told his father he's bi or together with a man) and it comes to a great discussion about marriage in general. Because Thelonious wants the big wedding and Wells Jaha really does not and they really argue and then Thelonious asks why and Wells just screams “BECAUSE I’M WITH A GUY” and Thelonious just blinks for a moment and then screams back. “OKAY BUT WHY DOES THAT MEAN THAT YOU CAN’T HAVE A BIG WEDDING FOR CHRIST’S SAKE?”
'you took all the blankets, I gave up and got another one' au with wells (and whoever you want tbh.)
this got clearly out of hand. It started with headcanons, but escalated quickly afterwards.
title: untitledfandom: the 100pairing: Bellamy x Clarke x Raven x Wells (because they are my otp)
In their small apartment everyone had their own private room with their personal things and a bed. In Bellamy’s room it were mostly history books, which Bellamy not only had read, but also scribbled notes into. He bought himself every month a new one and read it continually through while scribbling notes into the blank spaces of the book and in small notepads, which he kept also, of course while mumbling stuff. Raven had called it the equivalent of the mad science guy and whispered to Clarke and Wells that they should watch out before Bellamy turned into some kind of history villain and killed them all, or worse bored them with endless speeches about the roman empire. As if he didn’t already do this.
Raven’s room was full of tools, wire, small nails and screws. Not to forget the explosives that Wells had found while searching for one of his hoodies, that mysteriously always ended up in Clarke’s or Raven’s wardrobe, but not his. The worst thing weren’t the explosives though. The explosives were safely wrapped up and put away, but the small screws and nails lay around on the floor. It was a wonder that Raven had not hurt her feet before. Once Wells came back home just to find a half naked Bellamy sitting on the kitchen counter groaning, while Clarke still in her jacket and shoes tried to remove a nail from his feet. Raven stood next to it, also just in her underwear drinking some juice. Wells didn’t want to know the details, but of course they were told to him anyway.
While making out heavily, they had walked to her bed. The nail got into his feet and he started screaming. Luckily Clarke came right back home in this moment.
Afterwards no one really entered Raven’s room anymore except for Raven herself.
Clarke’s room was the messiest one, pencils lay all around, next to pain tubes, canvas, anatomy books and plates that she had forgot to bring back to the kitchen or mugs that now where used as brush holders.
Wells’ room was the tidiest of all. He had few books, a small chess plate, to play with. His computer and music player where kind of his most precious belongings, next to the 145 cd’s that where organized by genre and then interpret.
A lot of people always wondered, in most relationships there was one bedroom for all. But most people were also used to monogamy and didn’t understand the concept of open relationships.
Next to the fact that they didn’t realize that four people sleeping in one bed also meant that all of them had to deal with the sleeping habits of the others.
No, it was good the way it was. Wells would have been for separated rooms and personal spaces even in a monogamous relationship. Especially when Wells saw the red stripes on Bellamy’s arms and shoulder, because he had apparently slept the night in Clarke’s room. It was good this way, convinient.
Of course that didn’t meant that they always slept separated. No, most of the time people ended together in one bed. Once in a very bizarre week, mostly connected with the fact that all of them had had finals. Bellamy slept in Raven’s room, Raven in Clarke’s, Clarke in Wells’ and Wells in Bellamy’s. The morning after, when they came out of the other’s room they had laughed about it shaking their heads.
This week on tuesday Clarke ends up in Wells’ bed.
He had gone to bed early right after supper, university had exhausted him, draining all his energy slowly but steadily. Clarke wakes him up at 2 in the morning, when she stumbles into his room, crying bitterly and loudly. She doesn’t say a word. Just throws her clothes to the ground and crawls on to the bed.
He’s still half asleep but the conscious part pulls her closer and strokes her hair.
She cries for a while, probably letting out all the bad feelings that had come while working. Sometimes Wells wasn’t so sure if becoming a doctor really was something Clarke wanted to be or she just picked up because her mother was a doctor. But all the comments in this direction, she had mostly ignored or worse got angry about. So he kept his mouth shut, just trying to support her if she was in fear of falling down.
He strokes her hair till she falls asleep. Her arms curled around his belly, her head on his breast.
Of course she doesn’t stay this way. Clarke is famous for tossing and turning at night, sometimes even completely turning in bed, while kicking her bed partner viciously.
In his state Wells had not thought about it, till the feet hit his side. He ignores it, pulling his blanket closer. But over the course of the night. He loses both, his blanket and also most of the space in this bed. With a sigh he gives up and opens his eyes. The clock tells him that it’s five in the morning. Next to him Clarke snores unaware of anything, her legs stretched out, holding the blanket like a human being between her thighs. He contemplates about standing up at first. Searching for the pro arguments and cons. But after things get heated in his head, when ever he thinks of con and pro arguments he imagines a judicial hearing, with him being the lawyer for both sides.
After one side has out that he was already awake enough to imagine this discussion in his head. He stands up, walks to Clarke’s room, takes her blanket and wales back. Because he sure as hell doesn’t want to wake up with some paint on his body or pajamas.
The next to hours he finally gets some sleep, but Clarke’s feet still wake him up once an hour.
The next day, wednesday Raven ends up in his bed. Clarke’s blanket still there. She had been too sleazy to take it with her or maybe did not realize that Wells took it. But it’s kind of not important, because in the evening after supper Bellamy and her end up in a big discussion that goes on for about two hours and is finally resolved in probably Bellamy’s room, which is the reason for Raven coming over. She can’t focus with the noise and sits down next to Wells reading a book for a class. He’s playing a very intense chess game with the computer and she lays her head on his shoulder and watches him silently, putting her book aside. She can still study tomorrow. They warm up some food and Wells makes tea. It got awful quiet after Bellamy’s and Clarke’s shouts had filled the air for the last hours. They probably had fallen asleep after sex.
After eating Bellamy Blake’s famous lasagna and discussing their plans for the weekend. Raven wants to go swimming, Wells has promised Nathan to probably go out and party a little, they decide to watch ‘Lilo and Stitch’ Bellamy’s favorite disney movie.
Cuddled under the blankets they fall asleep. Wells head on Raven’s thigh.
Raven’s the total opposite of Clarke, while Clarke takes all the room while sleeping. Raven curls up into a small ball, taking as little space as possible.
Bellamy compared it once to a small kitten curling up. Raven only replied that she didn’t have a big bed until she was eight. Nobody made a comment afterwards.
So Wells still has more than enough space, but Raven takes both blankets in return. She always was a warmth seeker. Most happy under a big fluffy blanket pressed between two hot people, she had wiggled her eyes at this to Bellamy and Wells, which had laughed.
Wells tries to take a blanket away from her, but her grip is too strong and after a while he gives up again. With a sigh he stands up, closes the laptop, who had still stood open on his bed.
He hears Bellamy and Clarke talking, while he goes to Raven’s room to grab her blanket. Careful to not get a nail into his feet.
He’s not sure but he believes they’re talking about Clarke’s work.
A smile crawls onto his face. Maybe Bellamy would be the one to talk some sense into her.
Back in his room, Raven is nothing more than a small ball with flower motives on it. He lays back on bed again and turns to her, stroking he guesses her back, he falls asleep.
Thursday’s strange. Clarke has to work again in the evening. Raven leaves shortly afterwards, telling the guy’s that she decided to pull an all nighter together with Octavia. Bellamy tells her to say hello to her and with this the boys are left alone.
They eat together, wash up together and then leave to go to their rooms. Bellamy has to write an important essay, Wells has to learn for his exam’s it all goes well or Wells you might say till Wells leaves his room to go to the toilet only to find. Bellamy nervously walking around in the kitchen, hands shaking, while repeating the same lines over and over.
Wells tries to talk to him calling his name, but Bellamy doesn’t react till Wells puts his arms around him. He hugs Bellamy till he stops shaking. Afterwards he watches with him Game of Thrones, even though he isn’t very fond of the series he knows it’ll brighten Bellamy’s mood.
It kind of doesn’t because this season seems to be a catastrophe.
“Well technically there were already problems in season three”, Bellamy begins to explain and Wells is trapped in a two hour meta conversation about Game of Thrones and A song of ice and fire, while watching a young girl getting married to a psychopath and trying to escape him.
Afterwards he switches and they watch HBO Rome, which has also way to much female nudity, but at least they seem upfront about it. Also Bellamy’s rants about the series are priceless.
Wells laughs his ass off, while Bellamy tries to explain for the tenth time that the relationship between Octavia and her brother Octavian had been different.
“Also the portrayal of Atia”
“Wasn’t the whole last season pretty inaccurate?”
“Yeah, but they knew the show got cancelled afterwards so I guess they tried to fit everything in”.
Wells nods and smiles at Bellamy, who finally is back on his tracks. They both grow closer, till Bellamy hugs Wells from behind eyes already half closed.
“Can I turn out the laptop Bells?”, Wells asks and Bellamy only hums already fast asleep.
From all of them Bellamy is definitely the best to sleep together with. He’s used to sharing a bed because of Octavia and also the one to cuddle the most. If Wells would’ve only been together with Bellamy, he would’ve liked to sleep together in one bed most of his nights.
The only thing annoying was Bellamy’s habit of sleeping naked and bringing books into bed and leaving them there..
One night in Bellamy’s bed Wells had thrown all the books away, which had made Bellamy curse, but Wells had only applied coldly that he needed some space.
The biggest problem with Bellamy was, that he was -well- too hot. He finishes in his head Raven’s hot damn while smacking Bellamy on the ass.
He’s so hot that Wells sometimes believes that a fire burns inside of him and after four minutes of cuddling Wells breaks free. Bellamy turns around taking his blanket away with him.
Confused Wells searches for the other two blankets, but it’s too dark to see and he just can’t find them. He’s puzzled at first, but his sleepy brain decides to stand up,g o to Bellamy’s room and repeating the same process like the two days before. Some books fall from the blanket as he takes it.
He hurts his foot on the way back, because he stumbles against a pile of books, which makes him think about buying Bellamy a bookshelf for christmas. Still cursing he rolls together in bed.
Only next day he realizes that Bellamy slept on Clarke’s and Raven’s blanket the whole night.
He doesn’t have the time to get angry though. University is calling.
On friday he comes back home late. Technically it’s already saturday. Sadly he doesn’t come home from a big party. The others will tease him for this fact in the morning he just knows it, but is too tired to care. He had just worked till eight o’clock in the evening on campus and afterwards met with the chess club and got stuck with Maya debating till one o’clock in the morning about the current state in politics and his father’s run for mayor in Ark town.
It had been interesting but draining. He tiptoes around the rooms and trying hard not to wake anyone. He has seen the wodka on the table and the shot glasses in the living room, all of them were probably drunk and sleeping, but when he opens the door to his room he’s in for a surprise. At first he just sees Clarke’s golden hair shining in the moonlight. Her body stretched out, but next to her he can see dark curly hair and between them very small is a ball of Raven.
Their clothes even lie on the ground and for one moment Wells has this dreaded thought that they probably all had sex in his bed, falling asleep quickly afterwards still sweaty and probably naked.
Wasn’t Clarke’s bed better for this kind of stuff? Sure you went out with paint all over your body but it was bigger. With a sigh he undress letting his trousers fall next to Bellamy’s.
After closer inspection he realizes something else, far worse. There wasn’t a blanket left. Bellamy had one and Clarke had probably hers. Raven had two wrapped around her.
“You got to be kidding me”, Wells whispers so quietly they don’t wake up.
Staring down at them he tries to think about what he could do next. Maybe he can use the light blanket on the couch, which was far more used to hide the fact that the couch had holes. But part of his brain says no, fed up with his partners irresponsible use of blankets. Next to their irresponsible way of buying and eating arugula. They always bought too much and in the end he had to throw it away. This time Wells thinks he wouldn’t have their shit.
With a loud sigh he let himself fall on the bed, creating a lot of movement.
Crawling between them, pushing Bellamy and Clarke out of their way. Bellamy grunts, Clarke mumbles something inaudible. Wells doesn’t mind. With crossed arms and no blanket he falls asleep.
He wakes up around four am, just to have them curled up all around him. Bellamy behind him, Clarke kind of on the other side and Raven has found her way between Bellamy’s and Wells legs. Finally he got a blanket. Bellamy’s still hot but Wells is too tired to care, he closes his eyes and falls asleep again.
He is woken by Clarke and Raven singing to wannabe in the kitchen. He blinks a few times. At first he believes that a cat got into his room and lays heavy on his breast. But it were actually the blankets all wrapped around him carefully. With a sigh he pulls them closer and rolls around, closing his eyes again and trying to ignore Clarke’s deep voice singing ‘I wanna, I wanna I wanna uhhhhh’. He can hear Bellamy laughing next to her.
He is probably cooking, most likely eggs and bacon from the smell of it. The buzzing in the background is probably from the coffee machine.
Wells turns around again, eyes still closed, determined to lay here till the end of days and claiming the blankets. They would never get them back he told himself.
