I wish words could describe just how awesome "Kingwings VS Nasjonalballetten" is. I wish there were something - photos, videos, reviews, anything - online doing it justice. I wish you could all see it. It's one of the most amazing stage shows I've ever seen. Street dancers VS classical ballerinas. Endless head spins VS minute long pirouettes en pointe. Ballerinas with pointe shoes doing flips and and crazy jumps. Street dancers doing beautiful pas de deux with the ballerinas. Battles where they outshine eachother with amazing technique. And to make it even more awesome one of the dancers suddenly walks over to the grand piano and start playing an amazing classical piece. I just very much appreciated the genre mix, and that they showcased just how much technique the respective dance styles takes. I'm going again tomorrow. My co-worker happened to had two tickets for tonight he could not use, and he offered them to me. Seeing they've been sold out for months, I grabbed them with both hands, though I had bought tickets for tomorrow long ago. My friend Navid aka. bboy spaghetti, will be dancing on the "norske talenter" show this coming friday. He is a man with many moves and many thoughts! He has inspired me in many ways as a dancer, and i believe he will inspire many others this friday!
