Another life update post:

My "new" HD doesn't work. I bought it local and secondhand, and I believed the technician would be ethical enough to not sell me a faulty HD just to get rid of it.

He did 🫠

Now, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, because it's a fucking weird error. That only appears after prolonged use (about more than 30mins) so it might not have appeared during his testings???? But anyways, it's unusable for playing TS4. Which, for me, tends to have a long loading time. I would probably not even be able to get into the game, or crash on the very beginning of the play session.

So, yeah. Some prayers I can get my money back would be appreciated. It was worth two months of my electricity, for comparison.

Life Update 🧡

First off, didn't mean to disappear from Tumblr lol, I love it here and I love you guys, even if my interactions are getting few and far in between these days.

• I managed to get my "new" HD fixed, and it's working 🥳 (even if I still think of it as provisorial, because it's finicky enough that I can't even readjust my laptop while playing before it loses connection)

• I've been doing an internship in a specialty that I am falling in love with, so that's pretty much feeling like a Canon Event in my life? But it is 12h/4d per week, plus transportation, in comparison to my university's more flexible schedule, so I am a bit more tired even if I'm loving it :3

• On my off time, I managed to get the game up and running. But yeah, I am restarting from scratch. Completely. So it's a bit of a process to set-up my favorite pixel babies again. To help matters, SFS is refusing to let me 2FA, so I can't even download the sims I still had there ;u;

• And the game may be running, but my S4Studio is not... For some godforsaken reason? Apparently one or more of the language files from EP81 (Wonderland? Bridgerton?) are faulty. I've reinstalled S4S. Didn't work. Tried reinstalling the expansion. Didn't work. Next step is reinstalling the game itself and praying this fixes it. I checked the forums, but there's nothing of the sort there, I'm on my own

(I just wanted to do some recolors ;u; and mayyyybe a pose for a friend 🥲)

So yeah, my mental bandwidth is stretched kinda thin? I'm telling myself that it's fine, everyone's stories will still be there when I come back to a more normal programming. Because I really don't have much availability to process anything.

Anyways, WHEN I CATCH THIS DAMN MONKEY THAT HAS BEEN PUTTING HIS PAW ON MY LIFE I'LL SHOW HIM HOW FUNNY IT REALLY IS

Hi friends!! 👋 Any builders in the gallery that you recommend, pretty please? 🥺👉👈 Especially if those builders make shells or non-house lots (like schools or labs)

It kind of has finally dawned on me that I stall a lot of gameplay because I don't have the "right scenarios" yet (aka I try to build my own but I *suck* at structures, only really good with decor) and, like a spoiled child, won't play until it's perfect.

The weekend came.

And my game won't work properly.

And my Photoshop is crashing everytime I try to edit the Makeover sims picture.

I'm going to scream. Or cry. Or both

Also, has someone else had bugs to enter apartments? Specifically Diego Lobo's? The infinite loading screen isn't even *spinning* anymore. Just frozen. (On Business and Hobbies patch, btw. Still not in a good moment to update my game)
