The motion took no more than a few seconds, after which he turned to face the uchigatana; while putting on the the shirt at the same time. White cloth quickly covered up old scars as he eased his arms through its sleeves. This was not the first time something like this had happened, and he was beginning to suspect it was not a coincidence either. Not that he really minded.

      “No, it’s quite alright. I apologise for my state of undress, but was there something urgent that you needed?”
