does anybody know to make likes private? i keep googling it, and often the pages are from 2011-2013, and it says "go to dashboard preferences and uncheck 'show likes'" but that isn't true anymore. help a girl out?

a tip for those who have yet to get hhd or have just started playing.... (SPOILERS.)
after you've filled a few pages of the book thing full of villagers you've built houses for, GO BACK AND REMODEL houses you like!! depending on how far you are (how much furniture you have/how many lessons you have unlocked/etc), you can add an upper floor or a basement, or a different floor plan, or add items you didn't have before!! also, if you go back simply to visit, you can play dress-up with your villagers! the bottom screen allows you to pick up both yourself and the villager--and as you do, an option appears near the lower left corner of the same screen (where the refurbish option is when designing) that looks like clothes on a hangar! you can change out of your work uniform, as well as put hats and shirts on villagers!

i'm always late to the party with video games/movies/pop culture, but my babe preordered achhd for me, and i CANNOT stop playing.... and the best part is figuring it all out brand-new, ya know? i got acnl december 2014 and it was already out for so long and i anticipated it for so long that i had pretty much learned how to play before i even got the game. and that was great, and i love my town, i'm really proud of it, but achhd is wonderful because it's completely uncharted territory....and i don't have to farm bugs on the island to progress.
a dreamie is still your dreamie even after the fourth time they've tried to sell you that toilet. a dreamie is still your dreamie even after repeating the same few bits ofdialogue endlessly, only switching up names and key nouns. a dreamie is still your dreamie even after four changes of greeting, two changes of nickname, and four changes of catchphrase. a dreamie is still your dreamie even after they insist on planting the absolute WRONG kind/color of flowers in your perfectly manicured & watered garden. what makes a dreamie a dreamie is that we still love them after their repetitive antics, when every body else's annoys us.
