kinning characters is such a unique experience because I love these individuals and see myself in them and then in turn feel better about Myself because I’m comparing myself to these fictional individuals I care so much about/think highly of and it’s just like…congratulations you successfully tricked me into loving myself
you ever cry because everybody seems to have a fictional character they kin or relate to but you never had that, and all the characters you can see yourself in are never the ones you like, some you just downright dislike, and all your favourite characters have the personality you wish you had instead of actually have. and you dont have comfort characters because your attention span is so short that you read and watch shows purely to finish them because theres so much you need to read and watch and you're running out of time to read and watch them, so you just fly through them and dont allow yourself to actually connect with a character on a deeper level than usual. and you're just so lonely bc you desperately want a character you can relate to and can actually project onto
