I sort of felt like singing today, so here's a recording of a song I wrote a while back but never shared (I don't think? I can't find it in my singing tag) with anyone outside my inner circle. Pardon the shitty recording quality and my subpar guitar skills. I did this in one take with a mediocre digital camera. :P
The Hermann grid is black and white and straight. It plays upon your eyes’ peripheral With dots you try to hold, but it’s too late. I wonder if my memories are real.
Just one tomorrow's far enough away, And so many of them pass ‘til I see you. The hope to feel your arms and lips someday is all I have. I gotta be strong, I gotta be strong.
The fragments of your warmth live in my dreams. The camera can’t hold the glint of red When sunlight hits your hair. I reach for gleams, But they are only thoughts inside my head.
