SUBJECT: Kimber
Hey, stranger.
Thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate it. Things have been going well so far. You should see how seriously Dani takes her role as a big sister now. I wanted to thank you again for everything you’ve done. Adjusting to the change was a bit difficult but believe me when I say there’s more than enough room in my heart for the two of them. Hey, any chance I could borrow your clan name, just as a thank-you? Or would it be too obvious? I think Kimber Lael Aduriel has a nice ring to it. Message me back when you learn anything on the brother, okay? If he’s still out there I don’t want to separate them.
Thanks a bunch. You’re my favorite cousin.

How about some headcanons for Kip and Niko :D?
yuss let’s gooo
Headcanon A (realistic):
Kip had few close friends in the Jedi Temple. Part of it was because she was cautious of the attachment rules, but part of it was because other padawans were wary of her being prone to lashing out. They attributed it mostly to her species because like…not even Kip knew her entire family was cursed lmao.
Niko has a habit of forgetting where he puts things. Books, lightsabers, entire animals, and more. It gets to be a problem when he starts working with the Xenozoology Department of the Korriban Academy because sometimes he’ll forget to lock the doors to various pens and whole-ass rancor hatchlings will just waddle around the campus until they’re found. Sometimes acolytes have a hard time giving them back.
Headcanon B (unrealistic but hilarious):
Kip has a long scar on her right hand that she attributes to a fight with a powerful warrior or something. The story is never the same each time she tells it. Really, she got it because she fell off of a ruin when she was five trying to do a primate impression. She was too embarrassed to tell anyone, so she never got the kolto to heal it. To this day, heights make her nervous
Inspired by this post that’s been gaining notes rapidly, Niko has a small fork in his tongue. When he found out it was a good thing to have, he literally couldn’t stop showing it off. He picks up food with his tongue like chopsticks all the time just to piss off Kip. She’s jealous.
Headcanon C (heart-crushing and awful):
Kip doesn’t fit in. That’s just a fact. In the Jedi Temple, she was the only Sith in her crèche. In the Academy, she was the last one to be picked as an apprentice. On the Dark Council, she often suffers jabs at her Jedi childhood, accused of only reaching the Council because her master held the seat before her. “I bet she hired someone to do the killing for her. She doesn’t have the guts.” It’s a statement she hears often. She feels guilty to miss her mom when her blood family is right there, but the Empire is not her home. Nor is the Republic, for that matter. She doesn’t know where it is, but she wants to go home.
Niko has nightmares often. There is a common theme to most of them: plunging into darkness, an invisible grip on his throat, invisible hands holding his ankles, invisible binds on his wrists. A searing pain on a different scar each time. There’s a familiar cruel laugh, and Niko wishes every time he could forget the name of the slavemaster it belonged to. Because he took from him everything he had left and then some. When he wakes, he’s shaking. Niko has never told anybody about the nightmares.
Headcanon D (rejecting canon):
hhhhhhah okay i reject canon entirely anyways, so i guess i’ll just say some nonsense here about their in-game appearances.
Kip’s hair ought to be longer in-game, but I like that hairstyle with the little padawan braid too much to get rid of it. Her body type is totally not what Bioware made it look like (what is female anatomy? SHRUG, apparently) because she’s like, 15 at this point in her storyline and just…doesn’t look like that. She’s actually very short and built like a mini powerhouse because of how much time she spends sparring (*insert student athlete joke*). Other than that, her face structure is pretty accurate, if not a bit narrow. I like her eye color, it’s very warm and calm as opposed to Niko’s harsh yellow.
Niko is fairly similar to his in-game model, but he’s definitely not as intimidating. His RBF is still the same, though. His facial ridges are more like Kip’s, but I couldn’t find an option similar enough. His eyes really aren’t that bright, I just picked it impulsively because HELL yeah, glowy eyes! He does have those piercings that I gave him in the character creator, but he only wears them on special occasions because one punch to the face could easily gouge out his eyeball if his eyelid piercings got caught. Also I don’t want to draw them all. The hair options are a bit limited, but I think the one I picked is pretty close. I honestly love the complexion I picked because it makes him look Very Grumpie and it’s amazing.
my Whole Life has led up to this moment
"Don't even think about it." From any of my pancakes to yours lol.
I like to call this one “Kip Meets a Cabbage and Also Realizes She’s an Idiot”
❤(the blank heart thing)
I could imagine Kipanya and Vachir getting along well. They would probably meet at some stuffy Imperial function that Kip has to attend to keep up appearances as a socialite and newly-appointed Dark Council member. She’d likely make some sort of snide comment to break the ice (”politicians, am I right?”), watching Vachir’s response as some sort of meter to judge how serious she was actually taking the event. Kip would probably make an effort to seek her out again in future events, either to gossip about coworkers or trade battle strategies. I think she would more readily trust Vachir than the other Darths because of her individuality rather than following orders blindly. Vachir might appreciate and relate to Kip working her way up to the place she is rather than play on the Council’s favoritism. Basically, I could see them having an unspoken alliance based on mutual respect.
Last Tuesday was Kipanya's birthday and I forgot bc I'm a bad mother!!! Happy birthday you stinkee lil pancake monkey
