Last week, we were away in North Yorkshire for the week. Day 4 was a trip to Kiplin Hall, built in the 1620s, created as a hunting lodge by George Calvert, founder of Maryland, USA. Further additions to the building added in the 19th century by Sarah Carpenter and her husband 4th Earl of Tyrconnel. Great place to see. (1 of 2)
